Camp Craftaway

FAQs

Do I have to attend all three days?

No. We have two-day passes available (Friday – Saturday or Saturday – Sunday). Either way, you’ll still get to take part in the ice cream social!

What are the different activities you’ll offer?

Camp Craftway will offer a choice of 11 workshops to choose from. You can see our workshops here, but they include embroidery, needle felting, wood burning, and more. If you attend all three days, you’ll get to take 6. If you attend for two days, you’ll take 5.

In addition to the workshops, we have opportunities to meet fellow campers with a craft supplies exchange and an ice cream social.

How do I pick my workshops and get supplies?

You will sign up for your workshops separately from buying a ticket, closer to the start of Camp Craftaway. Any supplies you need for the workshops will be waiting for you at the workshop (unless otherwise noted).

Is this an overnight camp? Are meals and lodging provided?

Camp Craftaway is a day camp. Lodging and meals are not provided. If you’re looking for lodging, we suggest searching for Airbnbs in West Seattle—there are a lot of nice ones!

I’m nervous about attending alone. Will I have fun?

Yes! Crafty people are fun—especially the kind that sign up for craft workshops!

All workshops are beginner-friendly, so you won’t be overwhelmed.

Crafting naturally invites conversation while we’re working with our hands. If you’re not sure what to say, just start talking about your pet or your favorite podcast!

Are refunds available?

Refunds are not available, but you can put the ticket towards next year’s event. You may also sell your ticket and transfer the registration to someone else.

What is your COVID-19 policy?

We are keeping a close eye on COVID. Upon check-in, attendees will be required to show their vaccination card. The event will be held indoors, and we’re asking everyone to wear a well-fitting mask while inside. Doors will be open to increase airflow.
