Katie Schaper learned to bookbind at Portland Community College in 2012. Over a decade and 2500 journals later, she is ready to teach her first bookbinding workshop. Her favorite part of her craft is finding fun papers for the covers. There will be plenty of options from her personal collection available at her workshop.

Craft your own book cover to cover. Using the ancient coptic stitch binding, you will create a handsewn journal from start to finish. Choose from a variety of fine paper for the covers, threads, and eyelets to create your own custom journal!
