In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the Japanese clay technique of nerikomi, layering and slicing colored clay to create beautiful patterned surfaces. Each student will design and form one or more small trinket dishes using pre-colored clay, learning how pattern placement affects the final piece. Finished work will be fired and clear glazed at Make Apothecary in Bothell, then shipped to participants once complete.
