DIY Solar-Dyed Botanical Print Bandana
Show your love of the PNW by handcrafting a botanical print solar-dyed bandana! This class will walk you through the basics of making one cyanotype-inspired bandana, using solar dye overlaid locally picked vegetation.

This solar dyeing class will use cyanotype printing. This photographic printing process produces prints in a dark blue color. Students can bring additional plants for dyeing.
What to expect
- All supplies are included. (Class kits are sold separately and fees go directly to instructor.)
- Supplies fee: $15
- Each student will receive a cotton bandana, solar dye solution and application materials, and locally picked vegetation.
- Please wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting messy.
